LAKEVIEW YOUTH
who we are
Our Student Ministry exists to Love God, love our neighbor, share the story of Jesus and make disciples. In Mark 12:29-31, Christ stated “the Greatest Commandments are to love God and love people.” In Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission calls us to share Jesus and make disciples.
Lakeview Youth (Wednesday Nights)
We host a weekly student gathering on Wednesday nights for 6th-12th grade students. We open the doors to students at 6:00pm and small groups start at 6:30pm. Dinner is always provided! Our purpose is to reach out to students and invite them to a place that they feel comfortable, to challenge them in their relationship with Christ, and to share the gospel with anyone who comes through our doors.
Small Groups (Sunday Morning)
Small groups are healthy, multiplying groups that reach, disciple, and connect students. We meet weekly at 9:15am to study God’s Word and are led by an adult leader. When students come to a small group, they get a chance to talk through relevant topics with other students their own age and adult leaders. We believe these topics are important for every teenager and our desire is that when a student leaves, they are able to navigate life more effectively!

I am originally from McDonough, Ga but have lived in Hartsville since 2016. My husband, Jacob and I have 2 children and absolutely love the life that Hartsville provides. God has placed a passion for students in our hearts and we are so blessed to serve the youth at Lakeview.
I grew up as 1 of 5 children of the music minister at our church in Georgia. I said the “salvation prayer” as a young child, but it wasn’t until 9th grade that I really committed my life to Christ at a winter youth camp. Since then, Jesus has revealed himself to me more and more as life throws many curve balls. I look forward to what He has in store next!
I have Ken beat on how many times I’ve been to Chick-Fil-A
